Heritage of Red Cloud Recognized for 2 Bronze Awards in 2016

On Tuesday, December 6, 2016, Jack Vetter from Vetter Senior Living was present at Heritage of Red Cloud to recognize and celebrate with the Heritage team their achievements for this year.

Kim Grams, Administrator and the team were recognized at the Vetter Senior Living conference in August with the VSL World Class Bronze Award. There are 13 pre-defined World Class categories in which you can earn points toward a Bronze, Silver or Gold VSL World Class Award. To earn a Bronze you have to accomplish 60%, Silver 70%, and Gold 80% of the 13 pre-defined categories. Heritage was 1 of 4 Vetter Health Service facilities to receive a Bronze Award in 2016. There were no winners in the Silver or Gold category this year

In October, Kim Grams, Administrator and Carla Boyles, Life Enrichment Coordinator attended the AHCA conference in Nashville, Tennessee. Of the 13,400 AHCA member facilities, Heritage of Red Cloud was one of 540 centers in the U.S. to be a recipient of the 2016 American Health Care Association (AHCA) Bronze Commitment to Quality Award. As described by the AHCA, “Bronze recipients are recognized for having made the first step on their path to excellence. Reviewed by trained independent examiners, applicants who receive the Bronze award are able to describe their mission, organizational characteristics and key challenges and to recognize the relationship of these factors to their ability to achieve performance improvement.”

Heritage of Red Cloud Administrator, Kim Grams recognized her staff for achieving these 2 awards. “These awards could have not been achieved without our staff who gives the quality care and services to our residents every day.” “Our team contributes to our success at Heritage of Red Cloud.”
