Physical Therapy: To improve strength, flexibility and general mobility. Following a surgery, the physical therapist can assist in pain management and healing. Treatment techniques may include physical exercise, moving through range of motion, stretching, soft tissue mobilization, hydrotherapy, and therapeutic heat and cold treatments.
 

Occupational Therapy: To improve residents' ability to perform activities of daily life, such as feeding, dressing, and bathing. Attention is given to the patient's range of movement, strength, and coordination. All activities are geared toward helping our residents regain skills needed to function in their living environment.
 

Speech Therapy: Specialized treatment programs for coping with problems related to changes in the brain and body due to congenital defects, injury, illness, and/or the aging process. Some of the areas that a speech therapist may address include problems of speech-language production and comprehension, problems with cognitive or "thinking" skills, and swallowing disorders following a stroke or a head or neck injury.
